Take a leisurely stroll through blooming apple orchards or walk through vineyards decorated with tulips - steep climbs to the Überetscher Hütte or even to the local mountain, the Roen, are also possible. Tramin and its surroundings offer hikers tours from 200 to 2116 m above sea level.

The South Tyrolean cycle network is well developed. For example, you can cycle on the cycle path to Lake Kaltern or explore large parts of South Tyrol on an e-bike. If you prefer something more challenging, you can cycle up to the Gummerer Hof or climb to viewpoints on the mountain along numerous forest paths. Racing cyclists like to go up the passes of South Tyrol or down to Lake Garda.
Spoiled for choice: In just 5 minutes on foot you can reach the Tramin sports and adventure pool, 10 minutes by bike and you are at the warm bathing lake Kalterer See. Or you decide to drive to Eppan to the Montiggler Lakes or even up the mountain to Fennberg to the idyllic mountain lake Fennberger See.

The wine village of Tramin offers numerous wine festivals and wine-related events throughout the tourist season. Tyrolean folklore is not neglected. A special event, albeit a bit harsh, is Shrove Tuesday. Wild carnival characters parade through the streets of Tramin. In even years this belongs to the small Tramin residents, in odd years the Egetmann parade is reserved for the large male Tramin residents.
